When you use this keyboard, its base becomes very long. I love the fact that it's a tome, but to use the keyboard you have to push it all the way to the edge, which makes sitting on your lap very uncomfortable unless you're leaning forward. When folded, the keyboard lies directly on the iPad screen. I felt very uncomfortable with the thought that a wrong hit could damage my screen. The volume buttons are practically not pressed. Due to the design of the fuselage, there is a "clamp" of sorts. I had to press so hard to get them to adjust that it rendered the case unusable. The keyboard itself was great and easy to use. It even came with a cover, which was nice. I absolutely cannot recommend this keyboard. For me, the length and inability to crank/use the volume was a deal breaker.
