We have 3 cats and this rug is like a blanket for them. He only warms them with the body heat that is so pleasant for us. We keep two in our big cat apartment and one on the floor. We bought another one for the street cat who adopted us, put it in the box we prepared for him, folded it in half and even put some hand warmers in between. During those very cold winters, this blanket was a lifesaver for this cat. They're fluffy on one side and soft lambswool on the other, so they're comfortable no matter what - our cats love them, as does our adopted street cat. It's hard to escape from him. This is a comfortable sleeping pad and we have no complaints from our kitties!
