This is a good water boot. It's pretty light, comfortable and easy to put on. Unfortunately I ended up sending it back. The plastic end of the left boot broke easily when I first tightened the laces and I couldn't put them back on. The shoe fits true to size but I went up a half size because I was concerned about toe width as I prefer wider shoes for toe room. If the lace end hadn't snapped and I'd gone down half a size, I would have kept this shoe. I also bought another pair and style for a family member. The end of the lace wasn't plastic, it was fabric. We saved it and tried it out. The shoes fit her perfectly. It was thick enough to stay in the water. The shoes were taken on a rafting trip and kept in place when worn. The water drained fairly quickly and dried up overnight. The soles of the shoes gripped pretty well on algae-laden rocks, and the soles had adequate cushioning and were thick enough to walk on rough, rocky, and uneven surfaces with ease. If I had bought other shoes it would have been the same. we saved.
