Review on Sabrent 4 Bay Docking Station DS U3B4 by Jerry Mangum

Docking station Sabrent 4-Bay USB 3.0 SATA 2.5 "/3.5 " SSD/HDD (DS-U3B4)

Sabrent 4-Bay USB 3.0 SATA 2.5"/3.5" SSD/HDD Drive Dock (DS-U3B4)The original intention of purchasing this docking station was to be able to create identical drives for BU purposes. It's easy to use and I like that the button to start cloning is on the front panel. Being able to make MULTIPLE clones (up to 3) was just a huge plus. But remember that if it takes 1 hour to clone one disk, it takes 1 hour to clone 3 disks (total 3 hours). I've also used this dock to run hard drives as extra storage for my computers. Very easy and all my Ubuntu and WinXP/Win7/Win8.1/Linux machines see the drive as a normal USB stick and handle it as such with very easy access. This in itself gives you a great advantage as you can backup to any hard drive you want very easily. It's as easy as creating a clone of your hard drive, it's actually easier to create a clone after you remove the hard drive from your computer and dock it to the destination hard drive. Just click the button to start the process. This docking station allows you to add up to 4 additional hard drives to your computer, and as it bears the SABRENT trademark, its reliability is up to the company standard. Remember that all products have a failure rate. It's not a perfect world, but I've had insanely good performance from SABRENT products and a very low failure rate, which is why I recommend SABRENT products. The box comes with a docking station, power adapter and cable to connect to a computer. The LED indicator for each drive bay is located on the front of the docking station, so you won't face the LED indicator issues like some other clones/docks. The clone button is also on the front, the power button is on the back. That's good or bad, depending on how you look at it. Good if you want to make sure the power button isn't accidentally pressed during a save or clone. It can be a bit inconvenient if you have a habit of turning everything off every time you shut down your computer on a daily basis, but it's not a deal breaker. I do not know this seller and have not received any goods or money for my self-employment. Reviews.181122 1113
