I have an old XL pressure cooker Model #: PPC790. I first bought extra rubber pads but used them and they are now being discontinued. Then I started buying rubber grommets from Revain. To my dismay the seal was not made. In desperation I found this one with many good reviews claiming to be bigger and thicker. So I bought one; no, I didn't seal it. But. In a last ditch attempt to figure this out, I decided to replace all of the rubber gaskets on my pressure cooker. it could hurt, and I was left with a pack of all the tiny rubber grommets along with a new float I bought a year ago. This included a seal for the inner lid that attaches to the outer lid. I added water to my pressure cooker, closed it and turned it on. Like new! Have the perfect seal. It makes sense! Actually I think it was the float valve stuffing box not holding the pressure. It only costs you $7.99 to try it out.
