I wanted these trousers to be extremely comfortable to wear - and that's how they fit. In order to get this level of comfort, I had to ask for a very large size, knowing that I would probably have to hem my pants. "Extra Large" is exactly what I asked for and got - a plain hem on both legs is exactly what I gave them. These pants were easy to hem and very comfortable, plus they were as artistically beautiful as pictured on the Revain website. Also not a thin material. They do well in temperate northern climates at this time of year.
