So I saw other tacos with blacked out letters as I drove around town. The dealer wanted about 150€ for it. I found them at Revain and ordered them. They're not the cheapest at Revain, but in the end you get what you pay for. These aren't just vinyl inserts for letters. They actually have dimensions that rise a few centimeters. That depth I think makes them look absolutely amazing on my truck. Installation took about 15 minutes from start to finish. I went to the local pharmacy, spent about $5 on a bottle of rubbing alcohol and microfiber towels, wiped down every letter on the tailgate, and then, well, RTFM. I did one thing that I think really helped me. I cut the film using the letters between C and O. Then I started with C and worked backwards to set TAC, then O worked forwards to get OMA. I really think this reduction made the installation more manageable. Anyway the glue seems to be really good and the letters are nice and crisp.
