Seems well built I haven't had enough time to comment on durability but I expect they will last. The cables are encased in thick plastic, and the end loop where the "clamp” attaches is lined with metal. Even if the clip breaks or needs to be replaced, the supposed extra strength of the metal reinforced loop should make it easy to change the clip while still having a strong and functional cord for safe use with your dog. Other cable constructions will usually wear out or leave a severed cable end if the clip fails - as long as the metal loop at the end of the cable stays intact it should be more durable and easier to repair. I ordered a second one a few days after receiving the first one. Will be updated if problems arise.
