Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Wansview Wireless WiFi Home Security Camera with 1080P HD, Night Vision, and 2-Way Audio - Perfect for Monitoring Babies, Pets, and Nannies by John Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Significantly improved camera.

My rating is based on my experience with several IP cameras from different manufacturers over the last 4 years. Overall, the Wansview Q5 Cloud Camera works very well and the initial setup/installation is very easy and quick. With some of my other cameras, I've sometimes spent hours (even days) setting them up. I love the new Q5 form factor which is better and much smaller than the previous Q3 camera. It feels good and I expect it to last for many years. The phone software may use some of the bells and whistles available from other competing IP cameras. However, it is very intuitive and easy to use. In summary, I would recommend this camera for its well-built hardware, features, and price. Below are some details: Pros: + Fast first-time setup (5 minutes for both software and hardware) with its easy-to-follow instructions. + The camera equipment is well built, good looking and small. + The wide-angle lens is the best I've seen in terms of clarity and coverage. -size factor) is definitely better than their Q3 and K3 cameras as well as other cameras I've had. The camera sends alerts to my phone and 10 second video clips to the mobile app. This is a new feature. Well done Wansview! Cons: - No sound detection alarm option (motion detection only). - When viewing saved images, they are not automatically rotated when the phone is rotated to landscape (from portrait). - It would be nice if the white background of the phone application was manually switched to a darker theme, e.g. B. black, could be adjusted. It would be nice if the multi-camera screen could be set to load on login by default. This currently requires an extra click.
