I mean like an alarm clock, it works great. Music sounds good, radio is clear. I like the wire antenna for better FM reception than my previous radio. It's missing some useful features. The controls are unintuitive and difficult to use. The buttons are pretty small for what I'm trying to turn off when I'm just waking up. The CD player does not have a 'shuffle' function and although it can be programmed the program only lasts until you switch to the radio so my wife couldn't wake up to her favorite song on the CD at number 7. There is only one music option at a time so my wife can't wake up to a CD and have me wake up to the radio. The Radio/CD/Aux button always toggles through all three, so I always skip the unused AUX option. There's also no AM radio, only FM. I guess I'll only use it until I find something better, then it'll just be a watch. ok wow You cannot view the alarm time, you can only set it. And if the alarm is off, showing/setting will turn it on (buzzer). The manual implies that if the alarm is set to "CD" and there is no CD in the player, you can get a silent alarm. The same with "aux"? I am not sure. A"Time zones"? I'm sending this back.
