Does what I need better than other competing SFF keyboards I've used.

I bought this keyboard to use as part of a media center so I wouldn't have to go back to my desk and use the keyboard and mouse I bought to play games and I'll be damned Windows Update doesn't break my modern Settings app the day before I got it. I still have it paired with my Android device and am currently using it to write this review. The buttons are hard and difficult to press, but they're about the same compared to QWERTY phones of the past, maybe they'll get better as I wear down the switches. The touchpad is surprisingly good given the form factor, although it did have a smear on it out of the box. The top mouse buttons are a very nice, obvious addition that makes me sad that other competing wireless SFF keyboards like this really fall short, although I'd rather have them up top than at a 45-degree angle; The curve of my index finger puts my fingertip right there, making that area more comfortable than where the mouse buttons were. The keyboard could use some improvement in the areas mentioned above, but it gets the job done better than the competition. Although I was impressed by the packaging. On top of the outer box is a thick plastic can that slides out sideways, and the can itself resembles the packaging found on old Apple devices. The content is much simpler though, including a keyboard in a disposable plastic frame with a USB cable and a simple beginner's guide behind it. It's quite nice for the price.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good
