Review on Zyliss Potato Vegetable Chipper White by Nancy Scott

I have been using a Zyliss french fries cutter since 1995. I'm not an active user which is why the knife lasted so long. The blades have dulled lately. So I ordered a new cutter from them. It took several weeks to get here from the UK. It got here yesterday. I opened it up and saw that one of the plastic tabs on the 7mm linkage was broken. Without two protrusions, the pusher will not stand still. I contacted Revain today. After a long conversation I was told that I would have to return everything. Too bad the manufacturer can't send me a small part. Just imagine the cost of shipping back and forth to the UK. In general the knives look high quality but they put cheap thin plastic protrusions on the trigger. This is definitely bad technique. Now I have to return everything, reorder and wait a few weeks for it to arrive here in the US.
