You know - the vinyl record case is strong, it seems high quality in workmanship and looks. I like it for that. Would I trust it to carry priceless records? No. During the first trip the miserable one splintered Metal clasp that held the two parts of the suitcase, into pieces of metal that became useless.I pretty much clung to this thing as a kid rather than carry it like a briefcase because the clasp is so poorly constructed.I really wish there was something that would be strong enough to secure the lid of the case and support the weight of the unit with your cargo at least a couple of locks to give more stability. Very disappointed that a good case was broken down into such a small detail that was completely overlooked.
