I mainly play classical guitar and use this mic for streaming, Instagram and YouTube videos and even the occasional posting on Spotify. It is ideal as a microphone for video and live transmissions, but leaves a lot to be desired for studio settings. I still prefer my cheap Audio Technica small-diaphragm mic, and it absolutely can't compete with something like the Newman, but I throw it into the mix occasionally when it happens to be in a particularly good spot. Aside from lacking in color and clarity for audio recording, this is a great mic! Rugged and compact, I can record or stream anywhere with minimal fuss and really clean, crisp quality. The built-in compressors make tuning really easy. Make sure you turn them off before recording audio, they won't improve the final mix. Compressors are great if you don't plan on adding anything other than a little reverb or EQ, but any additional compression or limiting of the mix via the built-in sounds sounds terrible on acoustic instruments in my opinion. The video is just a built-in acoustic setup with no additional effects.
