Follow the instructions and preheat for 3 minutes before putting the pizza inside. I use chilled ready-made pizzas from the supermarket and they turn out great. As a rule of thumb: bake pizza four times faster than in a conventional oven. So I preheat the pan for 3 minutes (on high heat) and bake the pizza for another 4.5 minutes on high heat. Cooking time in a conventional oven is 15-18 minutes. The pan will get very hot, so use an oven mitt or oven mitt. After baking, leave the pizza in the microwave for a few minutes. Also tried the frozen crust pizza and it came out good. The crust didn't turn brown and toasty. It was ready to eat and very tasty. You're limited to smaller pizzas as the pan is only 12 inches in diameter. That's why I only gave four stars. To be honest, my microwave didn't fit in an oversized frying pan. Haven't cooked anything but pizza yet.
