The first good thing: the plastic is quite thick. It is convenient to control the flow by pressing the plunger. Easy to read fuel level front and rear. Unfortunately, the downside more than makes up for this, as without modification, the security features make them much more difficult to use and more likely to fail altogether. This makes it hermetically sealed. . Completely leak-proof when properly closed. Great for holding gas, terrible when the temperature changes, air volume shrinks or expands and flexes in the plastic or puts it under heavy pressure, ready to fire fuel at high speed when the trigger is pulled and remember, let him go first . The lid has a mechanism that needs to be pressed while rotating to remove it. It is very hard and difficult to press when the lid is rotated. Because it's designed to hold the button on the handle, you'll need to press down on it firmly with your fingers and twist it past the handle. Your knuckles are probably bent and now scratching the handle while trying to turn the cap. This can also happen when tightening as the latch is strong enough that it is difficult to tighten without pressure. You can twist it hard enough to miss the ratcheting action, but it's easier to push it a little. The lack of a vent will result in pressure build-up or suction in the walls of the vessel, if any air is present. After spraying the gas a few times, I better remembered the specific needs of this device and blew it before tipping it. But there was no recommended solution to the vacuum problem. So I drilled a tiny hole in the top of the canister like all the old gas canisters did. but without the cap they usually came with because I can't make a cap like I can make a hole. This worked great to maintain normal barometric pressure at all times. I also cut the ratchet off the lid and disable the safety feature that is supposed to hold the lid. This cap has many threads and a rubber washer. Not only does it work, it's very simple. Users are much more likely to confuse it when messing around with a backup. With this part cut off, it will be much easier and safer to open and close when refilling. I understand that these features are intended to reduce leakage. But I bet they also leak because of the usability bugs they introduce. It's hard to tell where the network is. I think if they made the anti-twist thing better and put a peg hole on this thing, that would be perfect. The trigger mechanism works great and makes it much more comfortable to use when dosing. This alone will likely stop a lot of spills. This is my second (negative) review for this product as the first one I spent some time on seems to have been removed.
