This is a great tonic for your morning routine as well as a second tonic in the evening. It's not viscous but not watery, good light consistency for layering. I apply about 3-4 coats after cleansing or after exfoliating toner. I've found that I don't need as much moisturizer after using several layers of this toner. The pads supplied are reminiscent of Unicharm Silcot Pads, which are very suitable for making a mini mask. Overall very good texture, effective ingredients and great price!
