I'm new to sewerage and have been told I need this for any mistakes I make. Yes, yes, indeed, I have. It seemed awkward at first, but after practicing and getting comfortable, I immediately started ripping the seams left and right. Not realizing to fools like me that you use the pointed end to trim individual threads as needed, but you actually lay the blunt end on the ground and the U-piece does all the trimming of the seams. The sharp end at the bottom will rip the fabric! The red knob protects the pieces of fabric from tearing.
