I ordered this tool for two reasons: 1) to install some 1/4-20 rivet nuts on the back door of a tie-down truck. I couldn't apply enough force to the rivets to deform them and attach them to the sheet metal tailgate. Instead, I ordered a dirty-simple $20 hardened bolt tool so I could use a socket wrench to easily apply the required force. 2) to install 10-24 short socket nuts in a 1/4" thick panel. The threaded portion of the 10-24 tool bit was too short to engage the threads of the union nut. For this job I ordered a $6 friction key.
