My closet doesn't have blinds so the side light hits me straight in the eyes. I will put a piece of wood or something to block the front/side light. Also, the mounting hole on the switch side of the device is covered by the power cord, so the screw needs to be at just the right depth before you put the device on it. And the included screws are junk, so plan on going to Ace for real screws. The cord is long, so you'll need to find a mounting hook on the bottom of the cabinet to catch excess cord and keep it out of the way. The spade connector is functional - the device overall is fairly "light" bordering on flimsy, and I wouldn't be surprised if the switch failed before the LED strip stopped working, but it does now, so I'm keeping it my reservations about Geist. .
