Easy fix if pot won't turn on
If your pot is completely empty then this cable may be what you need. This cable has a thermal fuse. This cable was easy to replace. I think I overloaded the pot while cooking the big stew, so I bought a second instant pot to make sure this doesn't happen again. I live in this pot. My oven is retired. Who needs that much heat in the kitchen? I think you can just buy a fuse, but I'm not good at soldering. It was so easy.
