Review on πŸͺ’ Braun Series 7-9000 Pulsonic Shaver Cassette Replacement Pack by Yousef Dudley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Plastic takes over men

Problems at P&G? Trouble at Brown? Who knows, but replacement parts have been hard to come by lately, take longer, often come from overseas, and are a lot more expensive than they used to be. It's like there are production delays as Revane looks around the world for someone with something to sell. Mine came from Lexington, Kentucky, but that site is no longer listed as a seller by the day the part got to me. And what used to be metal is now plastic (i.e. the side of the interchangeable head stamped with the words "Series 7" is now black plastic). The head works very weakly, but noticeably better (with a closer, less strenuous shave), but the overall shave mysteriously lasted just as long as with the original "worn out" head. If I ever buy another to save money, I'll probably wait 18 months, which Brown believes is a reasonable replacement timeline, rather than the six months that Revain's salespeople suggest. Of course, I can tolerate hair pulling for 9-12 months.
