Review on Flowmaster 15367B 2 50 Exhaust Tip by Curtis Thilges

I have been a lifelong fan of Flowmaster exhaust products. I've put them on everything from Mustangs to Silverados and even a 4runner lately so I was very disappointed to see how poorly made this expensive exhaust tip was. Of course I knew it was expensive when I made the purchase, but I thought it was worth knowing that the black ceramic coating would last for years. What I found instead was that the coating didn't even come off production to the beat of "Maybe it was just a bad part?" It looked like someone brought a rattle to it before putting it in the crate, skipping the seats in the process. I was able to return this Revain item with no problems. For those interested, this item is ideal for exhaust pipes with an outer diameter greater than 2.5 inches. You can't tell from the photos, but the back of the wider tip doesn't taper to the 2.5" pipe you're installing. which looks like you stuck a can of Maxwell House on the tip of your exhaust. At the very least, they should give you a side view of this product so you know exactly how silly it's going to look.
