I received them in size 4T. My son ONLY goes up to a size 4T and it fits him well except he is large in the waist so I would say true to size. My son, like most little boys, LOVES dinosaurs so of course it was hard to part with these shorts. The design is great with an elasticated waist and a faux 'tie'. There are 6 pockets - two flat on the back and two regular hand pockets on the front as well as velcro pockets on the lower front of the shorts. The only thing I criticize is that the color doesn't match the picture - it's more of a green color. gray (like army greenish) than the straight gray shown. The workmanship is good, I could not find any defects or incorrectly sewn seams. Made in Vietnam 100% Cotton Machine wash on warm, tumble dry medium.
