I purchased a white one and was a little nervous it might be transparent. It isn’t and the white looks really nice paired with jeans. It is definitely looser than expected so my shirt is too big on me. I would almost consider ordering a size smaller than what you usually wear. I gave it to my sister instead of dealing with returning it. It was a little shorter than I would have liked in the front. It does not reach mid thigh but it is longer in the back. The fabric is wonderful! Super comfortable. I noticed there is a longer version of this shirt available so I actually purchased that in two colors also!
