You may need to use an HDMI 8k 2.1 cable to connect the ARC.
I am using an HDMI ARC connection from my TV to my speakers. He disappeared in times of complex noises. I've tried several cables - they're all really high quality that I know are good for other uses. Then I tried a 3ft 8k 2.1 cable. It works perfectly.
