This anatomy teaching eye is solidly made. It seems that students have to endure a lot of manipulation while studying the eyes. These are seven parts: the upper part of the eyeball, the lower part of the eyeball, the cornea, the iris, the lens, the vitreous humor (and the stand is seven). Everything looks anatomically correct. There is a little booklet listing the parts of the eye. When using this model for training, it would be good to use additional references to understand the function of the eye muscles. The model includes an insertion of the inferior oblique, but there is a cutout where the superior oblique should be. This is a model of the right eye showing the angle at which the optic nerve exits and the insertion site of the inferior oblique muscle. My intended use is as a teaching model for an introductory anatomy course where I am homeschooling my two youngest children. My background is a doctor.
