Review on Anolon Imperion Damascus Cutlery 3 Piece by Daniel Shivashankar

Affordable, Quality Damascus Steel Knives

I like these knives. They are very sharp and hold an edge well. The other knives I own are the JA Henckels Classic Classic Set and the Shun Shun DM0718 Classic 7" Santoku Hollow Ground Santoku Damascus Steel Knife. The Shun knife is comparable in that it holds the blade and is made of Damascus steel, but is not as sharp. The Henckles set is sharp but the knives require me to steel sharpen them every time I use them. Anolon knives are the sharpest I have and they hold their edge. Den I only need sharpeners occasionally. Anolon knives come with their own plastic sheath which is a nice bonus. The only thing I'm not very happy with is the finish of the handles. I can feel the edges of the rivets. It really is one Small thing and I don't think most people will notice.Would buy again in a heartbeat and have recommended to friends.

Pros
  • Stainless steel half-pearls provide a fully sharpened edge and large cutting surface, and a radius-polished shank provides strength and reliability.
Cons
  • Repair
