I have to say because what we said is no longer true. So I call these POINTS, not dots. My former friends in the optics industry can roll their EYES as much as they want! Okay, these are my absolute favorite reading glasses. They deliver. They are very light but surprisingly difficult to break. The optics are great for the price. The blue block feature works. Maybe not as good as other brands of lenses with yellow tinted lenses but I prefer them with tint as you can use them for anything not just electronic screens. The tint is subtle but good enough for use with an electronic screen. However, you can read a newspaper or magazine and the lenses don't seem to color the written page at all. Cozy? You bet. I can wear these glasses all day and not feel uncomfortable. I don't like glasses with nose pads. The frames on it fit your nose perfectly and comfortably. And the temples (for those not in the optics industry) are strong but thin and light. They're not spring-loaded, but the frames flex and spring like crazy, making the temples (stems) feel spring-loaded and fit snugly around the ears without being too tight. I bought three boxes of these to use around the house, at work and my second home. Why so much? Because I tend to lose them and also because I like to leave them lying around so I can just pick up a pair without having to hunt around for reading glasses. I've sat on it, slept on it, even stepped on it. Most of the time they survived. Not always. Hey, they don't belong to Superman. You can break and damage them. All I'm saying is that they hold up to damage better than any other pair of glasses I've had. I like them so much that I have ordered a quarter diopter larger than I currently use and another quarter diopter thereafter as my eyesight deteriorates with age and I still want THESE glasses for reading or computer use. But who knows if they are still in production? So I put together a deck by ordering in advance. I mean, now I'm wearing 1.5 power. Ordered 1.75 and 2.0 for future use. I'll just keep the boxes locked and keep them on my desk at home until I need them in the next few years. EDIT: Still my favorite after years of use. Because of loss and breakage I ordered again (original diopter). Again, sometimes I accidentally get very hard on them, and they CAN and SHOULD break, but not often. They are absolutely more shatterproof than any of my other goggles. They seem to break at the attachments on the arms (legs for the blind). Super comfortable. transparent optics. Very light weight. And about as strong as one would expect from such lightweight glasses (blind glasses). My absolute favourite.
