This is a reliable good quality lighter that is well worth the asking price. The firing mechanism is very convenient to use: you slide the thumb lever to the left and that opens the top and cocks the shock spring. As your thumb slides past the stopper, it rebounds and hits the flint with a crisp, pistol-quality click. The lighter is encased in a leather sheath that is soft and comfortable to the touch and shows no signs of wear even after weeks of carrying and use. The fill and flint screws, like most lighters, are designed to be opened with a coin. (Don't use a screwdriver, you tighten the screws.) This lighter comes with a "secret" container for a spare flint (I won't tell you where it was, as half the fun of this lighter is finding it to examine) and my lighter already had the flint in it. This lighter lasts longer when filled with lighter fluid than any other liquid lighter I have owned. Buy one (or two); You will not be disappointed.
