Serious Business.: Home Decor Products

I had a powdery mildew problem in a 4x4 grow tent at my house. Treat the tent with this product after removing plants and other material to prevent PM from reoccurring. I took it pretty seriously, used a 3M respirator and took a number of measures to isolate the area and get other areas to breathe fresh air. Just enough. If your garden is in an apartment, I strongly recommend that you leave the house for the duration of the treatment. Be sure to bring a suitable respirator, for example for dealing with volatile organic compounds, that also covers your eyes. A face full of sulfur attracts attention. Your eyes are mucous membranes and absorb gases. I mainly keep my respirator to wipe down when working with polyurethane and keep it in a zip bag so I don't have to quickly change out the filters. This is an investment for life. If you get a PM like I did, one of them will sanitize and restart your grow space in about 125 cubic feet. You don't have to buy a "burner" or a lot of sulfur. I had no problems with the wick. It ignited on the first try and stayed aflame. After that, you need to carefully clean the grow room. Sulfur Powder covers everything we're honestly aiming for. Be smart and put a small can on something that won't burn, even at a few hundred degrees. I didn't film this with my laser thermometer, but the glass gets very hot and mounting it on something that conducts heat would be a bad idea. I'm glad I bought it. I might buy one to put on the shelf as insurance.
