I like this mounting kit because it's clear/frosted and doesn't get in the way of the lightsaber display. I also like that it comes with an extra piece of each piece of hardware needed for installation (screw, anchor, and bezel). Just drill a few 5/32" anchor holes (I did this in drywall, which isn't recommended, but I don't have a CHOICE). This fixed the base fairly firmly to the wall. You could really just pause the install at this point. As long as your wall is straight up and down, the lightsaber will just sit there. However, if you want to install the top mounting piece, you can do so. It just screws directly into the wall without any dowels (which seems useless to me). It holds the top of the blade in place. You may be better off using one of your spare yellow anchors to install this. All in all a good deal. I would like to see the tip of the blade. The mounting part was changed so that it was, for example, 1 inch lower. Thus the saber stands straight up and down and does not touch the wall with the point.
