This was the perfect size when we brought our child home to the ICU. She was 6 pounds and 16 inches long at the time so I knew this one would be small enough when I saw her on some dachshunds in other reviews lol. I've searched long and hard for one that isn't just for toddlers and older. If you are looking for one for your newborn or preborn baby, this is it! Look no further! It's a little prickly, but what kind of skirt made of such material doesn't itch? It wasn't bad enough to irritate her legs, so that was good. It stretches a bit, so I'm guessing it will last until her childhood. Very good buy! I may have to buy more in other colors. Very happy with this product!
