Update September 21, 2019: The cables have held up reasonably well the whole time with no connector damage or static unlike other cables I've tried before. During this time I have also used it in other ways, all with good results. I still keep my 5 star rating for build quality and ease of use factor. Good build quality with gold female tips and a 3.5mm tip on the other end. My male 3.5mm cables fit the split ends perfectly; and both headphones worked without problems. It also worked great with the new iPhone connector adapter for lighting connectors. We used this cable to connect two Bose headphones to the headphone jack on the back of the TV. I bought a 3.5mm braided extension cord with a male connector on one end and a female connector on the other end since my TV was about 12 feet from the couch. The setup worked without any problems. The only downside was that the volume of the headphone jack on most new TVs is fixed and cannot be adjusted on the headset when wired.
