Review on Veanic Wireless Gamecube Controller Gamepad Gaming Joystick 2.4G with Receiver for Nintendo Gamecube and Wii (Black) by Mike Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price for a wireless controller.

Let's get a few things out of the way: 1. It's nothing compared to the wave bird which is much more expensive but obviously of better quality.2. Yes, it is a 3rd party controller. If it bothers you, just don't buy it.3. If 1 or 2 bothers you, then try not to read any further. If you're still reading, this controller might be for you. The box it came in was damaged and a bit old, but it has good range (I played it 10-12ft from the TV), good battery life, and easy pairing with the wifi adapter. The controller is responsive and fits comfortably in my large hands. I've tested at least a dozen different games and haven't had any issues with any of them, including fighting games like Soulcalibur II. The ONLY complaint I've had with this device at this price point is that it can be a bit difficult to reconnect at times, when you reset your game cube or don't press any button for about 5 minutes. If it doesn't connect right away, first try connecting it closer to the game cube by pressing any button. If that doesn't work, you may need to either unplug and reinsert the wireless dongle, or unplug and replace one of the batteries. Both methods work well. If you've come this far, then by all means consider a purchase! This is a really good product, especially at this price point.
