I used 3/4 inch to remove the coolant hose from the Silverado's heater core. Did it by hand with a flashlight, everything worked perfectly. I read a lot of reviews from people who got on the battle bus and tried to do the same. This tool is all I need. Simply slip it over the heater core wire coming out of the firewall, pull on it until it's fully seated in the connector, and squeeze it with your fingers to release the clips in the connector, then twist the connector to make it easier to pull out, and BOOM, he jumped out. EASY MONEY. Stopped a coolant leak since I changed the heater core plug, 3 weeks ago now. Not the heaviest plastic, but I don't break it and I'm rude tools.
