While this mount works great in most cases (suitable for a tablet or phone, horizontally or vertically), it's strong enough to stay in place, the clip is not suitable for large tables or furniture. I was hoping to use it on our bed for surfing or tablet work, but the clip only opens a few inches. I have used it on my desk in an art studio and it works fine but if the clamp was bigger it would have been a 5 star product. The arm moves in different directions, and it's easy enough to position it at different angles. It opens by itself to hold your tablet or phone spring-loaded (self-adjusting), which is nice too. 4 stars in total, minus one because it can be hung on a thin table.
