I bought this 9 months ago. Nothing has ever stuck to the skillets. I use a little butter or oil. Things just cook better that way. I NEVER use cooking spray. I use the small skillet daily for breakfast - bacon or sausage and eggs. Nothing sticks. The small skillet has turned slightly brown but still works great.I always let the pans return to room temperature before cleaning as directed. Sometimes I let them soak in warm soapy water for 5 minutes if there was a build up while cooking. They just wipe clean. Some people complained about water getting trapped in the rim of the lids. I've never had that issue. I never put them in the dishwasher.These pans are heavy. They are almost as heavy as cast iron and cook in a similar manner but not quite the same. The handles are big and sturdy.I picked the larger set because I can easily put more pork chops or chicken pieces in the skillets at the same time. Sometimes I take the skillet from the stove top to the oven with no issues.There are no chips or scratches in the surface. However, I NEVER use metal utensils.
