I am a 54 year old female who was quite intimidated by the build reviews. I just collected a lot of things from IKEA. This item was well packed with styrofoam. None of my products had chips or scratches. I liked the instructions because I prefer pictures to text. All parts fit perfectly in the pre-drilled holes. I mean perfect. The only thing I did was put the side panel inserts in place before putting on the front itself. This worked great so I didn't have to worry about putting those panels back in place later. It probably took me an hour to assemble, maybe a little longer because I'm slow and meticulous. I really wanted to try this thing because they don't make a lot of small corner TV stands. It was really the only thing I could find in the smaller dimension. It's absolutely perfect for the space I need. Try it!
