I've had a pair of ATH-M50's for several years but the headband came loose and wore out within the first few months of use. Inevitably I had to replace them, this time with ATH-M50xbt headphones, which are basically the same but wireless. I wanted to protect them from wear and tear beforehand, so I chose this one because it suited my needs. Putting them on was easy and they held up well with no fuss. At first I was concerned about the zipper and my hair, but again, no issues. I wish there was a thin extra strip above the zipper to prevent hair tangling, but it works very well and looks clean and professionally done.
