Looks like a good portable set.

Just received the kit so don't know about durability yet. However, if you need a portable kit with a lot of hard-to-reach parts, this is a good choice. The body is well designed overall. The internal magnets hold the bits in place well. There's a nice spring-loaded lid that everything fits onto. However, given the weight of the bit and holder, the spring could probably be a bit stronger. It has a set of high-security bits for those special fasteners that Apple and many others use to prevent consumers from repairing their products. For example, it has five- and three-edged bits. With the exception of the smallest sizes, all torx bits are of the high security type, which fits both standard torx fasteners and high security versions. This is a smart move. However, hex bits are not a type of security. And it seems that the set only contains metric bits, no English bits. This is an obvious potential improvement. The set has smaller Phillips dimensions. There are also some Philips-like screws that are not included in this set. JIS is an example. Pozidriv is another. However, I'm not sure how common they are. And while the screws are more likely to slip off, a Phillips screwdriver is often enough.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Operating speed
