So I first bought a CD player mount which is now useless. Like the ashtrays that some cars still have. And while the CD player mount was solid and stayed in place, it hung in front of my display and blocked it, and I had to constantly move my phone just to see the time or navigation. I also bought a vent mount, although I didn't imagine it would stay indoors. Based on the high ratings I thought maybe I missed something. When the mount arrived and I put it in the vent, it stayed on and I tried prying the phone out. Because the magnet holds the phone to the mount very securely, it would constantly stick to the phone and come out of the air vent. Or when I was driving on a bumpy road, he fell to the ground along with the phone. Then I would attempt to pick my phone off the ground, which defeats the purpose of using a mount as it's a safer way of looking at your phone. Frantically searching the ground for your phone while driving should be a lot less safe. So I saw the WizGear universal vent mount and its perfection. The spring loaded anchor is a little tricky to properly install in the vent, but once you do it stays firmly in place and won't come out until you remove it. Once you install it in the vent for the first time, it's easier to manipulate every time. It goes into the top of the vent and so the phone blocks a vent, but it's subtle and doesn't come out unless you want it to. So I believe if you need a mount that doesn't stick to the windshield and noticeably block or block the screen in the car or keeps falling off this is the vent for you. It was the answer to my prayers and I highly recommend it.
