UPDATE: I've only used this a few times. Initially it worked very well, now it no longer sucks air out of the bag. I followed the troubleshooting instructions in the manual but it still doesn't work. So I contacted the company via email and they didn't reply for over a week. I don't recommend if you want a machine that will run more than a few times. I just got it yesterday and had some large packs of meat that I bought at Costco that I had to convert into smaller freezer packs. First, I love how small and light the device is. It's called "mini" but is great for liter and gallon vacuum freezer bags. I read the instructions and found it much easier than the device I had before. Insert the bag, press the top of both sides and it will start vacuuming immediately. If it starts to suck out more than you want (liquid comes up), just press the seal button with your thumb. Blue light flashes when sealing, then viola! It is finished! And much quieter than my old one. I hope it lasts a long time, I'm very happy with it at the moment.
