Water tastes bad in our new house and this Brita makes it so much better! We drink a lot of water and nothing but water, so we had to do something fast. The transition from a deep, tasty well to a city water supply came as a shock. It's still not the fresh quality of the well water, but it's nowhere near where it used to be. Brita has come a long way since I remember thirty years ago. Filling is easy by flipping the tab, the filter is easy to insert when oriented correctly, and it pours well. That's a big jug; more than I thought it would, but it fits perfectly on my door drink shelf. I wish there was a way to spice it up a bit because I like things that look pretty. It's hard not to make plastic look plastic, but it lives in my fridge so can't really complain. The bodice is not very tight. Either the rim is raised a few inches near the spout, or the back is near the handle. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not. I would recommend this Brita Pacifica. It really improves the taste of the water.
