As mentioned earlier, the container is actually a bag. There's nothing shameful about that. I knew I was going to do this, but when I tried to put my 7ft tree (THIN) in the bag, the seams tore on one side. Furthermore, the zipper popped out when I tried to zip it up, leaving the bag closed forever with only the zip in my hand. My wife thought it was funny, but I didn't laugh. The material is strong and the stitching is not. Especially when the whole design is about stuffing the tree in the bag. If you buy a fake tree, save money and just keep the box the tree came in. A NOTICE. I bought two bags, red and green. . After the red bag proved useless, I pulled out the green bag. The design was not the same. It has two zippers and seemed more durable. If you are forced to buy one of these bags I would recommend starting with the green bag and seeing if you can get a more durable double zip bag.
