Made a custom pull out shelf for a heavy synthesizer and was very happy with the result
I have a Poly Evolver keyboard. Put simply, this means I have a big, heavy thing that takes up a lot of space and I keep it in a cozy little room. To make better use of the space I decided to make a pull out shelf for it out of some pieces of pine, these drawer slides were attached to scraps of red oak I found in a trash can when they were doing the floors in the new apartments next door. Door. The result is an easy-gliding, easy-to-access rig that looks great when fully extended - no sagging or anything.
