I bought these pants for my son when he was almost two years old because he didn't have a bum to hold his pants on. He is almost 5 and I can still use these straps on him. So durable. Still a great fit thanks to the adjustable clip and the elastic is still snug but stretchy. No rust, even if these things are often accidentally washed. I like that they come in different colors. It took a while but my son finally figured out how to buckle and unbuckle his belt. I just did the exercise that is expected of a toddler when learning a new but valuable skill.
