Very poor volume control

I wish I could send them back and try another pair. The volume is very quiet, even when turned all the way up. So if you are at the gym and there is noise everywhere you can still hear everything. When I'm talking to people and doing multiple tasks, they also hear everything I'm doing clearly, so with those two factors it's definitely not noise-cancelling. I read a lot of reviews before buying and they seemed great but they definitely aren't :( Only good thing is they are comfortable and hold up well so I didn't lose them. I just wish the volume had can be louder It's definitely not my ear!
