I bought a black and gray backpack for work and so far it has been one of the best work bags I have ever used. The number of pockets on this thing is insane. Inside there are two padded pockets: one for a laptop, the other smaller one for a tablet. I use the smaller one for my Fire HD 8. Haven't used the charging port yet, but there's a small zipped compartment inside to stash the charging cable if you decide not to use it (how thoughtful). I really like how professional it looks while still being a backpack. I feel like many women who carry heavy work bags or one shoulder bags don't find backpacks feminine enough and therefore don't consider them. It's definitely worth considering. The straps of the backpack are not detachable, by the way, and there is no back pocket to hide them. However, there is a cross strap to attach this bag to the luggage handles. I use this cross strap to tuck the straps away when I want to carry the bag and use the handles instead. If you hold the bag with the back to you, no one will suspect that it is a backpack. I also like that the bag opens like a doctor's bag. This makes finding or placing items much better!
