Definitely saves space. However, it does not have the power of a large hair dryer and dries a little more slowly. One feature (inherent to many wall mounts) that I really like is that the button turns off when you hang them up. The night light is quite bright and due to the location of our bathroom we have to keep the door closed to block the light or turn off the dryer completely. There might be a way to turn it off, but if you're sensitive to light at night and try to block out the lights in your bedroom while you sleep, this might not be for you.
